I was awarded my licentiate as a documentary portraitist by the British Institute of Professional Photography on 4th November for a portfolio of images entitled 'Living Carnival.' This project tracks a male couple who attend Venice Carnival every year as they put together their costumes and refine their persona for the fantasy world they inhabit during carnival.
Wonderful feedback from the panel inspired me to continue with this project again this year, mount an exhibition and publish the book!
